When Neopia was young, there was a mighty dragon named the Cerpull, whom people both loved and feared!
One of the original pets, the Cerpull soon began to change, and before long it had transformed into a slightly squishier dragon, called the Tatsu, on July 13, 2000.
A rebellion ensued, as former Cerpull owners rallied against the gentle Tatsu, and demanded a sleeker, meaner-looking Neopet to replace their fallen dragons.
On January 26th 2001, the Tatsu was once again redrawn, but this time into a very cool and popular griffin called the Eyrie.
