Fleyes
come from the outer regions of Neopia, where
no one can pass on foot. Fleyes have evolved
acute eyesight and flying prowess to survive
in this harsh environment.
The Fleye (pronounced
"Fly")
resembled a flying eyeball
and was
introduced into Neopia on Monday, the 10th of January, 2000.
The Fleye was the winning
entry from the Neopets
1999 Christmas Pet Competition, designed by
PurpleStarKitty.
 But the Fleye was short
lived, and after only 6 months, it was
replaced by (or rather, evolved into) the
Buzz on July 24th, 2000.
Although the waspy dragonfly-like
Buzz
looked nothing like the Fleye, it did
inherit the Fleye's incredible eyesight.
