Grarrls are ferocious creatures, or at least they try to be. With lots of care and attention, Grarrls can grow to be some of the strongest Neopians.
The Grarrl resembles a T-Rex. The Grarrl has the distinction, along with the Chia, of being one of the first Neopet species ever created. In an editorial of the Neopian Times, it is revealed that it is the first drawn Neopet.
They come from the Neopian world of Tyrannia. They are generally among the strongest and fiercest Neopets (most dangerous) and can eat about anything (they will eat a random item of their user's if their hunger meter is red). They enjoy causing destruction and intimidating other Neopets.
In the Neopets TCG, Grarrls are associated with the element of darkness.
As of June 2007, the Grarrl is ranked 19th out of 50+ species. Over 4.3 million have been created. October 4th is Grarrl Day.
