Quiggles are happy-go-lucky characters who love to spend all day splashing around in ponds and puddles. Quiggles enjoy eating fresh vegetables and always have a large stock of carrots, broccoli, and asparagus nearby.
Quiggles resemble toads with large feet and tiny front legs (The other frog-like species, the Nimmo, is quite distinct with its long arms and legs). They are fun-loving creatures that are usually seen wearing enormous grins. They love water and particularly enjoy fresh vegetables. However, if you feed a Quiggle anything that has to do with ice cream, they will get sick.
The pet now known as the Quiggle was originally called the Frogstomp and released on April 18, 2000. On July 25, 2000, they were redrawn into the Quiggle.
In the Neopets TCG, Quiggles are associated with the element of water. Quiggles have a species-specific color, the Ususki-inspired 'Quiguki'.
Quiggles ranked 26th out of the 50+ species as of June 2007. There are over 2.8 million in existence. June 13th is Quiggle Day.
